TV3 Counts down the Top GAA Moments of 2013.
‘GAA on 3: Football’s Top Ten 2013’ airs at 3.50pm on Wednesday 1st January 2014.
‘GAA on 3: Hurling’s Top Ten’ airs at 4.30pm on Thursday 2nd January 2014.
TV3 takes a look back at some of the most memorable moments in GAA for the year gone by. In a two-part special hosted by former Dublin footballer Senan Connell, TV3 looks back on the 2013 GAA All-Ireland Football Championship and the All-Ireland Hurling Championship, picking out the top ten moments from an action packed summer.
Episode one takes a look at some football highlights including when Monaghan claimed Ulster success, Mayo got revenge on Donegal, London caused a few shocks and Dublin picked up the Sam Maguire for the second time in three years. But what is the top moment from the All-Ireland Football Championship? Tune in to TV3 and join the debate on Twitter @TV3SportIreland or #Top10Football.
Senan is back on TV3 on Thursday January 2nd, this time counting down the Top Ten Moments from the 2013 GAA All-Ireland Hurling Championship. It was a summer of surprises as Kilkenny were beaten twice, Limerick ended a long wait for Provincial success and Clare saw off Cork in the All-Ireland Final after a replay to lift the Liam McCarthy Cup for the first time since 1997. Plus remember Fitzer the Dog? Tune in to TV3 and join the debate on Twitter @TV3SportIreland or #Top10Hurling.
