The X Factor reaches a combined audience

of 1.3 million on TV3!

 

Sunday’s ‘The X Factor: The Result’ show reached 995,100 people.

 

Saturday night’s show and Sunday night’s show reached a combined audience of 1,322,500 people.

 

 

Sunday’s The X Factor: The Result show reached a whopping 995,100 people. Both the Saturday night show and the Sunday night show reached a combined audience of 1,322,500 people, making it a whopper weekend for reality TV on TV3.

 

An average of 505,200 people tuned in on Sunday night to see prison officer Sam Bailey and Louis Walsh’s last remaining act Nicholas McDonald go head-to-head to be crowned this year’s X Factor winner.

 

Last night’s show peaked at 690,000 individual viewers, taking a 35.89% share of Adults 15-44, 32.97% share of Women 15+, 28.93% share of Housekeepers and a 41.41% share of Housekeepers with kids.

 

The previous night saw a peak figure of 489,000 individuals with a total reach of 798,900.

 

It was a runaway victory for Sam Bailey as she received 53.4% of the final public vote. Runner up Nicholas received 36.3% while Luke Friend finished third with just 10.3%. (Weekly breakdown is in ‘Notes to Editor’)
