All-Ireland champions, Dublin, begin their defence of Sam Maguire exclusively live on TV3.

Three provincial finals, pick of the qualifiers, two All-Ireland quarter finals and the All-Ireland Minor finals exclusively live

TV3 today announced its choice of Live GAA football and hurling championship fixtures for the summer with All-Ireland football champions, Dublin, starting their defence of Sam Maguire and their Leinster title (against Louth or Westmeath) exclusively live on TV3.

Presented by Matt Cooper with a team of panellists, TV3 will broadcast nine live championship matches this summer including the provincial football finals in Munster, Connacht and Ulster. The pick of the All-Ireland qualifiers will be live on TV3 as well as two All-Ireland Quarter Finals.

TV3 will also be live at Croke Park on both All-Ireland Sundays to televise the All-Ireland Minor Finals.

A new look GAA show will broadcast on TV3 and 3e throughout the championship while Ireland AM will begin the build up to the Gaelic Games weekends on Friday mornings with action and analysis every Monday morning.

Commenting today on the 2012 fixtures Kieran Holden, TV3’s Sports Editor said: “Matt Cooper and the team are excited to be heading into our fifth year as GAA broadcaster. The summer promises to throw up plenty of excitement, surprises and debate. We will be showcasing our matches from all around the country and will be giving our viewers front row seats to the most exciting games in the world.”
