Last night’s Champions League coverage on TV3 saw Manchester United take on Chelsea in the 2nd leg of the quarter finals. A massive 623,600 viewers tuned in to see Manchester United reach the semi finals of one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world.

TV3’s Sports Editor, Kieran Holden said: “We are delighted that so many tuned in to see Manchester United and Chelsea battle it out for a place in the last four of the Champions League. Matt Cooper, Tony Cascarino, Martin Keown and all the team are already looking forward to United’s next Champions League game against either Schalke or Inter Milan Live on TV3 in the semi-final 1st Leg on 26 April.”
