Fianna Fail leader, Micheál Martin, has revealed that cabinet ministers returning as TDs following the general election should not be entitled to the 90 thousand euro severance pay.

Mr Martin was speaking exclusively on TV3’s Ireland AM this morning.

He told presenters Mark Cagney and Sinead Desmond, ‘’Given everything that’s happening with the economic crisis I accept the point that severance should only be when you lose your job.’’

Mr Martin said he had discussed the move with his colleagues and would
