David Whelehan, Ireland AM's resident wine expert since 2004, has been actively involved in the wine sector for the last 20 years and has worked in wineries in both the Napa Valley and Burgundy.
He holds the WSET Diploma, has lectured on behalf of the wine board of Ireland and is studying for a Masters in Wine. He is a regular contributor to a number of periodicals and has won the coveted Champagne Academy trophy.
