    X Factor's James Arthur flirts with Jodie Marsh

    'X Factor' contestant James Arthur has been flirting online with Jodie Marsh.

    The shy singer from Middlesbrough is a fan of tattoos and caught the eye of model-turned-bodybuilder Jodie and despite James trying to keep his admirer secret from the rest of the contestants the pair were caught video messaging each other through FaceTime, talking until 4am one night.

    A source revealed to The Sun newspaper: ''James came into the contest thinking he was this big ogre that girls would never fancy.

    ''But now he's been caught red-handed flirting with one of Britain's most famous glamour girls - and she has been coming on to him.

    ''It's not easy to see what they both have in common, apart from a love of tattoos, but they seem to be getting on like a house on fire.''

    ''He's been trying to keep it quiet but was busted and looked all red-faced.''

    The singer-songwriter split up with his girlfriend who he was seeing before the show, admitting that the relationship would be ''impossible'' while he is filming.

    James has wasted no time in getting back on the market though, sharing a kiss with glamour girl Chanelle McCleary from ITV dating show 'Take Me Out', at London club Whisky Mist last week on a night out.
