  • Salma Hayek launching nail line

Salma Hayek will launch a new innovation in nailcare with the expansion of her Nuance beauty line.

Salma Hayek is expanding her beauty line Nuance into the nail category.

The Mexican-born actress has had huge success with her body, skin care and cosmetics line.

The star will further her collaboration with American pharmacy chain store CVS - which exclusively sells the products - by launching a new nail innovation campaign.

From this month the Nuance 32-sku Nail Lacquer collection will be available in 2000 CVS/pharmacy locations across America.

The Nail HQ(TM) is the latest advancement for beauty shoppers and includes at-home gel kits and on-trend shades that have previously only been available in specialist salons.

The popular Nuance line fronted by Salma was the perfect partnership for the brand's new beauty launch.

Cheryl Mahoney, Vice President of Beauty for CVS/pharmacy, revealed more about their decision to extend the lucrative partnership with Salma into nails.

"With nail care sales booming, it's clear that customers are looking to CVS/pharmacy to find the latest innovation that the category has to offer," Cheryl said in an official statement. "With the launch of the CVS/pharmacy Nail HQ(TM), we are able to feature a wide variety of the best new nail trends and technologies that she can experience in our stores and then apply for herself at home-all with the added convenience of shopping at her local CVS/pharmacy."

WWD claims that Salma's five-year-old daughter Valentina inspired her to explore the nailcare possibilities available with the brand.
