Anna Friel has shared the extreme methods she uses to prevent ageing.Anna Friel says the Master Cleanse is an amazing anti-ageing treatment. The 36-year-old actress drinks up to 12 cups of a steaming hot cayenne pepper, maple syrup and lemon juice concoction a day in a bid to look younger. The detox programme, which is favoured by stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, involves replacing solid food with the drinks. "It's amazing. I've been drinking it for two months and I feel so much better and my skin has really benefited. If you're vain, as you get older you start thinking, 'I've got to do everything I can to save my skin,'" Anna joked to British magazine Grazia. "I've tried everything."Anna has also resorted to vampire facelifts to maintain her looks. The technique, also used by Kim Kardashian, involves extracting blood plasma from the body and injecting into the face."Vampire facials involve taking two vials of blood from your arm and reinjecting it back into your skin. It's meant to help your skin heal itself and boosts collagen. It makes my skin really glowy and tight again," Anna explained. "And I always have a Cryoderm treatment before a red carpet."Cryoderm uses a machine to first heat the skin to stimulate collagen production and treat lines. The temperature is then brought right down to freezing. Despite her extreme methods, Anna is not averse to using at-home remedies in her quest for eternal youth."People say I look really good afterwards [following a Cryoderm treatment]. I also do the old-fashioned method at home, where I fill my sink with ice cubes and hold them on my face for a minute," Anna admitted."I felt sick recently because I found one or two grey hairs and I read that curry leaves help to maintain your hair colour , so I mix them with hot water and drink it as a tea. I'm always searching for pure, natural skin products and Trilogy is great for that too, their Everything Balm is fantastic."
