    Justin Bieber face of Adidas

    Justin Bieber has been appointed the new spokesperson for Adidas.

    Justin Bieber has been named the new Adidas spokesperson.

    The pop star has been appointed the global brand ambassador for Adidas's NEO Label.

    Justin announced he'll be holding a competition for fans to find a pair of gold sneakers to tie in with his new appointment on Twitter.

    "Big News! I'm now working with @adidasNEOlabel. Find my gold shoes online and u could bring them to me in person!! (sic)" Justin tweeted.

    The teen idol later released a YouTube video announcement with further details. Every seven days for five weeks, his fans will be tasked with finding a picture of Justin's gold shoes hidden online with a special code. Adidas and Justin will drop clues on the NEO Label Facebook app about where to find them. Once the shoes are located, the contestant has to go back to the Facebook page and enter a code. By the end of the contest, two lucky fans will win an all-expenses-paid trip to Miami to meet Justin in person.

    In an official statement the singer explained why the Adidas NEO Label is perfect for him.

    "I found a real connection with NEO because it is about fashion, freedom and being true to who you are... one of the great ways to showcase yourself is through fashion. For me style is an adventure, something to have fun with and NEO believes this too," Justin explained.

    The Adidas agreement is the latest feather in mega star Justin's entrepreneurial cap. The singer already has his own fragrance collection and plans to launch his own clothing line. Justin follows in the footsteps of sports star David Beckham in fronting Adidas' men's and women's sportswear ranges.
