    Backstreet Boys' Howie Dorough welcomes second son

    Howie Dorough has become a father for the second time.

    The Backstreet Boys singer and his wife Leigh welcomed a son, Holden John Dorough, on Saturday (16.02.13) and he is thrilled with the new addition to his family.

    Howie said in a statement: ''My beautiful wife Leigh and I are so proud to welcome our son to the world. Holden surprised us by arriving three days ahead of schedule at 6:37 a.m., at 6lbs, 15oz and 20 inches long.

    ''Leigh is such an incredible woman and mother, and our son is so excited to have a baby brother. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing family.''

    The 90s pop idol tied the knot with Leigh in December in 2007 and the pair had their first son, James Hoke, in 2009.

    Howie will no doubt be able to share his baby joy with fellow band member A.J. Mclean, who welcomed his first child, Ava, with wife Rochelle last November.

    He gushed at the time: ''She's just everything to me. She's changed my life. It's such a different feeling, being a father. Last night I was feeding her and I swear she smiled at me. That just about ripped my heart out.''

    The Backstreet Boys are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a new album and world tour in May.
