    Jessica Simpson reunites with father

    Jessica Simpson has reconciled with her dad Joe Simpson.

    The 'Fashion Star' - who is pregnant with her second child - was spotted laughing with her allegedly estranged father after she acted as a bridesmaid for her best friend CaCee Cobb, who wed former 'Scrubs' star Donald Faison in Los Angeles on Saturday (15.12.12).

    According to gossip website RadarOnline.com, the 32-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer chatted to Joe at the reception at actor Zach Braff's mansion just weeks after she was said to have been avoiding him since he and her mother Tina announced their divorce amid rumours he was gay, which he has denied.

    Jessica attended the wedding with her sister Ashlee but it is not known if Tina was present.

    However, the mum-of-one - who gave birth to her first child Maxwell in May - was also spotted with her own fiance Eric Johnson.

    The couple are rumoured to be busy with their own secret wedding plans as they are said to be eager to tie the knot in Hawaii next week before the arrival of their second child next year.

    Previous reports suggested they are jetting off to the tropical paradise on December 21 with a group of their closest family and friends in tow and are believed to be tying the knot in an intimate ceremony.

    A source said: ''For the holidays, Jessica and Eric are going to Hawaii and they've invited a lot of their close friends and family. No one quite knows what is being planned, but family members are speculating that they could be planning a surprise wedding.

    ''Jessica and Eric had planned to get married before the end of the year, but because Jessica was helping her best pal CaCee with her wedding she got sidetracked. Then, her father's problems shattered her world and she discovered she was expecting.''
