    Courteney Cox's daughter Coco's creative costume

    Courteney Cox is planning a special Halloween costume for her eight-year-old daughter.

    The 'Cougar Town' actress' little girl Coco is dressing up as a half angel-half devil on tomorrow's (31.10.12) spooky day and Courteney thinks the costume suits the youngster's perfectly because it will show off her naughty personality.

    Courteney told PEOPLE magazine: ''This Halloween she's going to be a half angel-half devil... She is half devil and half angel, so I thought [the costume] was just typecasting for her. She just really has a big heart, and she's eight, not mischievous, but she's bold.''

    The 48-year-old star is convinced her ex-husband David Arquette's genes are to blame for their daughter's creative side and her eccentric choice of fancy dress.

    She said: ''At one point she wanted to be a baby-old man-detective and she had this whole outfit planned out... She had a bib, she had a mustache, glasses, a pacifier, and I was like, 'That's very David, isn't it?' To just come up and be that creative.

    ''I see a lot of both of us in Coco, for sure. She's very, very split down the middle between the two of us, and Coco is really, really, really creative.''

    Even though Coco can sometimes be a handful, Courteney sometimes appreciates her sensible side and says she gets bored very quickly.

    Courteney said: ''Last year we left 'Dancing With The Stars' and went trick-or-treating. We finally got to the street that we like to trick-or-treat on and within about five houses she was like, 'Alright, I'm done. I'm fine'. It's not so funny, but that is fantastic.''
