    Bobbi Kristina Brown: Mum is happy and smiling

    Bobbi Kristina Brown knows her late mother Whitney Houston is ''happy and smiling'' as she looks down on her.

    The 19-year-old actress is finding it easier to cope with the death of the legendary singer - who passed away in February - because she feels the 'I Will Always Love You' hitmaker is ''applauding'' her own legacy and keeping an eye on her daughter.

    She said: ''What gives me the strength is my family and knowing that she is watching down on us.

    ''Watching down and applauding and being happy and smiling and rejoicing, as well as we are, of her life and her legacy.

    ''She was an angel. She was an amazing, amazing person. Whoever met her, was attached to her from the beginning, the start ... at the very first sight, you're just attached to her. She was an angel on Earth.''

    Bobbi - who has reportedly got engaged to her 'adopted' brother Nick Gordon, who was informally adopted by Whitney when he was 12 - insists she is coping with her mother's death ''better'' than she initially thought she might.

    Speaking at the New York City premiere for upcoming reality show, 'The Houstons: On Our Own', she added to Access Hollywood: ''I'm doing okay, I'm doing pretty good. I am doing better than I ever thought I would. Definitely better than I thought I would.''
