Reidy retires to hit the books

Goalkeeper Ger Reidy has quit the Kerry football squad to concentrate on his studies.
Reidy was favourite to become the Kingdom's number one following the retirement of Diarmuid Murphy, having been understudy last season.
He played in this season's NFL opener against Dublin, but Brendan Kealy was preferred for subsequent games against Cork and Derry.
Reidy has insisted his decision is not related to his non selection, but due to increased study commitments.
