Armstrong likely out for season

Galway attacker Sean Armstrong could miss the rest of the NFL campaign after picking up a hamstring injury in Saturday's defeat to Cork.
Armstrong was one of his side's most effective performers in the 1-19 to 1-17 reversal at Pairc Ui Rinn.
"I was very happy with how we started but once Sean got injured we seemed to lose our shape," said manager Joe Kernan. "We have to wait 48 hours to see, but it is a hamstring tear and he could be out for anything between three and seven weeks."
