His early strike helped the Dubs to a 1-6 to 0-6 interval lead.
Kerry fought back in the second half with some well taken points from Paul Galvin.
They narrowed the gap to a point with a stoppage-time goal from John Walsh.
But a late point from Michael McAuley sealed a first away win in the Kingdom for Dublin since 1982.
