GPA get official GAA status

The Gaelic Players Association have been given official status by the GAA.
The move was announced at the gales Development Conference, and follows months of talks between the players' body and Association officials.
GPA chief executive Dessie Farrell said: "Recognition for the players association will provide a platform on which the GPA and the GAA can work together to secure a better future for our games and our players."
