Arsenal came from 4-0 down at Reading to win 7-5 after extra time in a thrilling encounter in the fourth round of the Capital One cup.

The home side were 4-0 up after just 35 minutes with Noel Hunt grabbing number four after Roberts, an own goal from Koscielny and a Leigertwood strike did the damage.

Theo Walcott scored the first of this hat-trick right on half time to start the fightback with Giroud, Koscielny and Walcott in the 85th minute bringing the game to extra time.

The gunners went head for the first time in this game when Chamakh made it 5-4 eight minutes into the second period of extra time.

Three minutes later Pogrebynak headed past Martinez to level the scores but there was still a twist left in this game.

And it came right at the end of extra time when first Walcott drove high into the net to put Arsenal back in front and then in additional time in extra time Chamakh made it 7-5 with a goal from outside the box.
