Republic of Ireland international James McClean could be in trouble with his Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill after his twitter rant against Giovanni Trapattoni last week.

 

O'Neill didn't rule out disciplining McClean when he returned to the club today.

 

O'Neill said the winger rang him on Tuesday night to apologise and said that he would discuss the matter further with the player.
