Bray boxer Katie Taylor is through to the Olympic lightweight final tomorrow.

Taylor saw off Tajikistan's Mavzuna Chorieva in the noisy surroundings of the Excel arena in London. She won out with a score of 17-9 after four rounds.

26-year-old Taylor will face Sofya Ochigava of Russia in tomorrow's gold-medal decider.

Ochigava won her round against Brazillian fighter Adriana Araujo 17-11. Taylor and Ochigava will come face-to-face in the Excel tomorrow (09-08-12) at 4.45pm.
