Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers says he is relishing the opportunity to take his squad to Fenway Park later this month.


Rodgers will take his team to play Italian side Roma on July 25 as part of the 100 year celebrations of the iconic Boston stadium.


Liverpool is due to embark on an offseason tour of North America and Canada, where it plays three fixtures.


Rodgers says "Fenway Park is one of the most prestigious venues in American sport" and adds "I'm just really looking forward to the experience but there is no pressure in a pre-season game."


Liverpool will also travel to Canada to play Toronto FC on July 21 before playing fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on July 28 in Baltimore.
