Federer through to record eighth Wimbledon final

Roger Federer has gone through to his record-breaking eighth Wimbledon final.

The six-time champion defeated Djokovic 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 under a closed roof on Centre Court and is now one victory from equaling two more records in an already record-laden career.

If Federer is successful in the final he will snatch the world number one spot from Djokovic and snag yet another record by equalling Pete Sampras' 286 weeks on top.
