CLONDEGAD YOUNGSTER SHANE BRENNAN has been thrown in to the Clare attack for Sunday’s Munster football final against Cork in the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick.


The Banner go into the tie as 13-point underdogs with some bookmakers offering odds as short as 1/100 on Conor Counihan’s men taking home a first provincial crown since 2009.


Brennan’s introduction at wing-forward is one of two changes made by Michael McDermott to the side which outlasted Limerick in the provincial semi-finals. Cratloe defender Barry Duggan starts at full-back with Shane McNeilis and Martin McMahon the two to miss out.


Enda Coughlan, who started the one-point win against Limerick at centre-forward, reverts to wing-back for the decider which throws in at 2pm.
