Richard Dinan has been ''surprised'' at the negative fan reaction he's received since appearing in 'Made In Chelsea'.
The 25-year-old entrepreneur admits his first series on the E4 show has been ''quite a ride'' and while he only expected to play a bit part in the programme, he was shocked at some of the criticism he's had from fans on social networking sites.
He told BANG Showbiz: ''It's been quite a ride. I was jumping straight in at the deep end. I think a lot of people think it would be nice to have an appearance now and again and dip in and out of the show, but it didn't really work out like that.
It ended up being a lot bigger. ''I was surprised by the fan reaction, I did expect a reaction but not to this level.'' Richard was involved in a number of disputes throughout his debut third series, which saw him fall out with Francesca Hull and Binky Felstead over his relationship with ex-girlfriend Kimberley Garner - but after becoming friends again Cheska believes some of the criticism from fans on twitter was too harsh.
She added: ''The twitter trolls are really hard because what twitter now does to people is give people a voice to say some really horrendous things so it's really, really tough. But you've just got to ignore it and get on with things. Perhaps they don't really understand the show?''
