This week on The GAA Show we’ll be looking at the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
Ahead of Cork and Tipperary’s semi final meeting at Páirc Uí Chaoimh we’ll be asking if the provincial competition is held in the same high regard as it once was
Is the small attendance at last weekend’s semi final a sign of waning interest and is the fact that Munster Championship games are no longer knock out a factor
Joining Kieran McSweeney in studio to discuss this issue are 2 time All Ireland winner with Tipperary and TV3’s Championship Live co-commentator Nicky English and Peter Sweeney from the Irish Daily Star.
Nicky will also be giving his views on Tipp’s chances against the Rebels. We’ll also be hearing from the Cork manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy as he gears up for a return to the sideline in championship.
There is also a big semi final down for decision in Leinster on Saturday as All Ireland champions Kilkenny get their campaign underway against Dublin. We’ll get the views from the Dubs camp.
Can they repeat their league final success of 2011 over the Cats? All that plus we’ll review last week’s major incidents and our Panel Beaters have their say ahead of the weekend’s action.
Tune In: Friday, 18.30 on 3e/23.20 on TV3 and Saturday, 08.15
