Marco Tardelli is confident the Republic of Ireland can pull off a shock win over defending champions Spain tomorrow night.
He said the players know they have one last chance tomorrow.
The Irish side have all the work to do after a 3-1 loss in the opening group game against Croatia. But the assistant manager isn’t writing off his team’s chances.
They face Spain on Thursday night in Gdansk and there are no injuries reported after both Darren Gibson and Richard Dunne managed to train.
Giovanni Trapattoni has insisted that James McClean will not be used until things ‘quieten down’.
