The result of a ballot for industrial action by Aer Lingus cabin crew will be revealed today.

A €97m cost cutting plan at the airline sparked the row.

The plan increased flight time to 850 hours a year.

Impact trade unions said crew had agreed to the increased flight time but rejected the increase in duty hours.

Aer Lingus said it, "has the means to deal with every outcome" and that there will be no disruption to passengers.
