A 29-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Shane Geoghegan in November 2008.

John Dundon from Hyde Road in Limerick appeared before the Special Criminal Court in Dublin where he was charged with the murder of the 28 year old Garryowen rugby player, who was shot in a case of mistaken identity almost four years ago.

Last February another man, Barry Doyle, was found guilty of murdering the 28 year old.
